Evelyn Loves Eating

Some days I accept the fact that if I can't fit into a size 6 Bettina Liano jeans, it does not make me any less a person than a person who can. This is when I feel that I cannot give up my chocolates, chips and cakes that are my comfort food when I need it. Then on other days, I think that if I was thin, my life would be complete (very twisted view of life, but it's nonetheless true).

Anyway, for a long time I've always heard that one of the ways to control what you eat is to keep a food diary. Except I never did. I concluded that what's the point of writing it down when I know what I'm eating? So now I've come up with this brilliant idea of writing down everything I've eaten for the day in this blog for everybody to read so that I will hopefully be shamed into a healthier diet. Shall be aiming for 1200 calories or less a day.

So here goes.

1 slice of bread with shredded chicken - 200 calories
1 small bowl of chicken salad - 200 calories
3 Scones - 450 calories
1 slice of chicken & leek pie - 400 calories
1 bowl of ravioli pasta - 600 calories
Estimated total calories: 1850 (Re.Pul.Sive.)

OMG I think it's already working. Terrified that I'm going to die alone and obese.
